So, what did everyone think of band day?? I'd want to hear some feedback on the event. Tell me what you thought about:
1. Musical selections
2. Sectionals with NUMB
3. Staying until the then of the game (would you have rather left after halftime?)
4. Doing it again in the future?

i thought that it was pretty fun. the sectionals were very effective but they should have given us more time we barely had enough time to play through all 3 songs once let alone parctice staying together. the director however was pretty crazy he was going so much faster then i thought that he would and with my sax acting up just made it very hard to foolow the music. it was fun staying the entire time and i hope that we get to do it again in the future.
Thanks for your input Ashley - I think you are right about the sectionals. The afternoon practice session ended 30 minutes early... they could have given you guys that time in sectionals.
I thought it was better than in past years, mainly because of the sectionals. I definately think we should keep going there every year.

NU Band Day was totally awesome. Even though I missed half of the practice time. Eek. Hehe. I thought the music was really fun to play and to pep people up - it was hard for me to stand still and play it. Haha. I liked that we stayed the whole night, it allowed us to get more involved in the game. I would absolutely enjoy going again, and this time I'll be able to be there the whole time! :D
I thought the band day was really fun. Sectionals were cut really short though. The game was fun. I love college/high school football, so getting home late doesn't bother me. I also think NU helped us adopt some new pep band-y music/cheers and a whole new look of college marching band. I hope we go back soon!
